Minecraft hosting

Name the server.
We’ll name the CPU.

A plan is reserved memory on a processor, in a city printed before you pay. Players type a hostname. About a minute after Stripe clears, the server is in your panel.

Server software: Paper, Purpur, Folia, Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, and vanilla.

The purchase

You are not buying a player slot.

Ten friends or a busy lobby is a question for the CPU, not a checkout toggle. The plan states the memory, the disk, and the CPU cap. Joins are not metered.

01

A slice of a node

Sizes are grouped by the machine they run on. You see the processor, how many cores it has, the memory installed in the box, and the site. The gigabytes you pick are held for your server. Switching jars does not touch the world.

02

The whole machine

When a dedicated box is enrolled, it is sold once. The RAM installed in it is yours. Leave it empty and the host can sleep. Starting the server wakes it.

The address

yours.play.gpacket.com

Java Edition, default port. Paste it in Discord and they are in. You can attach a domain of your own — up to eight — once it points at the play address and the panel has verified it.

How a join works

The game and the panel are different networks.

  1. 01

    The name

Play hostnames are the game address, not the website. Players resolve them directly. The panel stays on its own front door.

  2. 02

    The filter

Game traffic is scrubbed before it reaches the machine. A flood aimed at Minecraft does not have to take the console down with it.

  3. 03

    The handshake

The hostname in the join is what selects your server. There is no Velocity network in front of every box. Install a proxy yourself if you want one.

After you pay

The panel is the product.

Console, files, jars, backups, and the people you trust with a login. It is the control plane for the machine you just bought.

Console

Scrollback, severity, a filter, and command completion. Download the log. Power sits on the same screen as the numbers.

Software

Paper, Purpur, Folia, Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, or vanilla, at a published build. The jar is checksum-checked on the machine. Worlds and configs stay.

Mods

Modrinth, already limited to the loader and Minecraft version you are running. Install, update, remove.

Files

Drag-and-drop upload, an editor for configs, and SFTP for FileZilla or WinSCP when the file is a world.

Backups

The whole server directory, stored on a separate host. Restore in place. Download links last five minutes. You set how many to keep.

Signals

CPU, memory, disk, players, TPS, MSPT, and heap, every few seconds, kept for seven days. A crash restarts with backoff. An empty server can stop.

A second world

Split the plan you already pay for into two instances on the same machine. The new one gets its own hostname. Billing stays on the one subscription.

People

Who is online, kick and ban, playtime. Sub-users with the access you grant. API keys. Discord webhooks. Schedules, including only when nobody is on.

Settings are a readable server.properties, with the JVM on Aikar’s flags unless you change it. Extra plugin ports are counted on the plan.

On sale

The same list the panel sells.

Prices and stock are read from the shop. A plan that is gone stays visible. It just cannot be ordered.
